In Arkansas, ValueOptions® serves as the Administrative Services Organization (ASO), responsible for assisting the State of Arkansas Department of Human Services Division of Medical Services in administering the state’s mental health care delivery system.
There are two Arkansas contracts being served in this office: Inpatient and Outpatient services. ValueOptions® will be providing utilization review (UR) for inpatient services, for children who are under 21 years of age. We will also be providing outpatient mental health services for children and adults.
ValueOptions® designed our programs to place key staff members in Arkansas and additional clinical staff in Texas. The Little Rock office will be reinforced by our nearby Texas NorthSTAR office in order to assure continual program support and oversight.
